Stampin’ Up! Christmas Card Stamp-A-Stack

{Back to your regularly scheduled programing}  Excuse my absence from blogging the past week.  College classes are starting back up for me, the baby has had a few rough days and nights, and this momma was worn out. There was no time for crafting, or thinking, or creating, or blogging. Life happens!

Guess what?!? It’s that time of year! Time to start planning Christmas cards because there’s nothing better than sending a handmade Christmas card to your loved ones and friends. I am holding a Stamp-A-Stack on October 12, 2013.  I have two time slots running about three hours each- 11AM and 4PM.

It is going to be a blast!  On another related note, I just got in a huge Holiday Catalog order and here are some of the first cards I created with the new supplies.  They are similar to the cards displayed in the catalog as I thought they were beautiful!!  Some of these cards will be featured at the Stamp-a-Stack, so sign up now to reserve your spot.

Stamp-A-Stack

October 13, 2013 @ 11AM or 4PM

What is a Stamp-a-Stack?
A Stamp-a-Stack is a class held in my home, where you will make  a ‘stack’ of cards. You will make 4 card designs, 5 of each card.  The theme for this Stamp a Stack is Christmas Cards.

How many cards do you make in the class?
In my Stamp-a-Stack Classes, you make 20 cards and matching envelopes, in 4 different designs for $30.

Can I make more than 20 cards?
Yes, of course! But to ensure you have adequate time to complete them all, I ask that you register for both morning and afternoon time slots to complete all 40 cards.

What is the cost?
The cost is $30, which will cover the paper, stamps, ink, ribbon, rhinestones and other embellishments (everything needed for the cards is included). Envelopes are included and stamped.
BONUS: You also get to pick ANY stamp set valued up to $11.95 from the 2013 Holiday Catalog to keep!  You also keep any leftover designer paper scraps, card stock, ribbon, bows or embellishments from your cards.

How do I pay & do I need to prepay?
You may pay by check, cash or PayPal (emailed invoice).  Prepayment is required by September 21st, 2013 so that the stamp and supply order may be placed to ensure it arrives timely.

What do I need to bring?
Bring your own adhesive, Snail or Glue Sticks.  If you don’t have adhesive, you may use my SNAIL adhesive for an additional $5.  Everything else is provided.

Are the cards difficult to make?
Definitely not! I precut all of the elements- all you have to do is enjoy stamping, gluing and creating with friends.  I also give written step by step instructions with each card design.

How long does the class take?
We start promptly, so don’t be late.  It will take the full 3 hours to complete all 20 cards.

What is the format for the class?
I take 8 people per class. I set my dining room table up so that there are 4 shoeboxes with all the supplies for that design. 2 people work on each design at a time, then they swap seats as they finish and move to the next box.

I hope this answered your Stamp-A-Stack questions and that you will sign up to join me.  I try to make this the best possible deal for you- a ton of cards, a stamp set, all prepared materials, and card leftovers to go.   I can’t wait for more Christmas stamping!!
