Budget Buster: Free Monthly Expense Tracker

FREEExpensestracker

As well as crafting, I enjoy making spreadsheets and printables.  I like going over my budget (probably in too much detail, too often). Actually, I am a little neurotic about it. So, here’s the good news: I made a printable budget sheet to share with you.

Here is a preview of what it looks like. (Don’t right click and save this one because it isn’t the full version).

Check out the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper across the top.  You can use My Digital Studio to add color to any project. I love the scallop design.

What is it:

It is a basic household expense tracker that will help you ensure your recurring monthly obligations are paid on time for the entire year.  It lists the name of the expense, the amount, and the due date.  In addition, the initial of each month of the year is listed in a column at the top.

How to use it:

To get the most out of this printable, put it in a binder, at the very front.  Start by listing each monthly expense, adding ones that are specific to your needs and skipping ones that don’t apply to you.  Each month when you balance your account, or when you are mailing out checks (or paying online) check off that month.  List things that are on automatic debit and the date they debit just to remind yourself to 1) make sure they actually came out of your account, 2) make sure you have enough money for them to clear 3) remind yourself to use the service if you are paying for it (gym membership, subscription, etc.) or cancel it if you aren’t getting use out of it.

How to get it:

Alright, for the fun part I have create a few options for you:

#1 Monthly Expenses (with generic bill listing): Monthly Bills

#2 Monthly Expenses- Blank (you’ll have to write everything in): Monthly Bills_Blank

#3 Monthly Expenses Word Doc* (type in your own expenses): Monthly Bills_Blank

*If you do not have the same fonts installed your document may look different.

Just click the links to open and download the PDF files.  Enjoy them, pin them, share them with a friend, but don’t forget to use them!

Happy crafting & budgeting!
