High Tide Happy Birthday

Isn’t the High Tide Designer Series paper amazing?   I love the little starfish, anchors and most of all the whales.  The make for the perfect summer card and even better, a masculine card.  After playing around for a little bit, this is what I came up with.

Stampin’ Up! supplies:

  • Hardwood background stamp
  • See Ya Later * Sale a Bration set FREE
  • Smoky Slate card stock
  • Whisper White card stock
  • High Tide DSP
  • Smoky Slate ink
  • Calypso Coral ink
  • Gold Baker’s twine
  • Apothecary Accents Framelits
  • Big Shot
  • Dimensionals

Stampin’ Tips:
Background:  You will want to stamp the Hardwood in Smoky Slate ink onto Smoky Slate card stock.  The tone on tone stamping creates a subtle background.
High Tide paper:  Make sure you cut the DSP in the correct direction so that the anchors and whales are horizontal instead of vertical.  The anchors are 1/2″ wide and whales are 2 1/2″.

Happy Stamping!!

Fresh Print Banner Card, Stampin' Up!

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

Stamps: See Ya Later * Sale-A-Bration FREE

Paper: Crumb Cake cs, Coastal Cabana cs, Fresh Print DSP Stack

Ink: Baked Brown Sugar

Accessories: Paper snips, Gold Baker’s Twine

I cut slivers of DSP from a few different Fresh Prints papers.  I flagged the ends with Paper Snips (scissors).  I glued twine to the card, then added the flags over top of the twine with dimensionals, not actually glued to the twine- much easier.

Happy Crafting!
